About Bridget Archer
Bridget Archer is recognized for her success in listing and selling
equestrian properties, historic homes, and distinguished country estates throughout Central Virginia.
Guided by a deep commitment to integrity and shaped by a lifelong equestrian background, she provides
discerning clients with thoughtful, highly personalized representation—connecting exceptional
properties with buyers who value both lifestyle and legacy.
Bridget’s perspective is informed by an international upbringing. Having grown up in Paris, France,
and throughout Asia, she developed an early appreciation for history, craftsmanship, and cultural nuance.
These influences continue to shape how she presents and markets remarkable homes, farms, and landscapes.
A lifelong equestrian, Bridget rode dressage and broke and trained young horses, experiences that
deepened her practical understanding of horse properties—from land and pasture to barns, arenas,
and riding facilities. This firsthand knowledge allows her to represent equestrian estates with insight
that extends far beyond traditional real estate expertise.
Bridget is also a dedicated practitioner of Pa Kua, an internal Chinese martial art. The discipline of Pa Kua reflects her approach to both life and business, bringing focus, patience, and strategic insight to every client relationship and transaction.
Her professional background is intentionally diverse. Prior to her real estate career, Bridget served as
Director of Education for the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors,
Director of Sales and Marketing and Sales Trainer for Sunrise and Brookdale Senior Living, and as a
Psychometrician in clinical research trials at the University of Virginia.
Earlier in her career she spent a decade in the Los Angeles music industry before moving
to Charlottesville in 1983. She has been a licensed Realtor® since 1990.
With family roots in Ireland and a lifelong connection to the countryside, Bridget brings a distinctly
global sensibility to the marketing of historic estates, equestrian properties, and refined country homes
across Central Virginia—honoring each property’s story while thoughtfully positioning it for today’s
most discerning buyers.
If you are considering selling a farm, horse property, historic estate,
or country home in Central Virginia, Bridget welcomes the opportunity
to discuss your property and provide thoughtful guidance.
