About Bridget Archer
I am recognized for my success in listing and selling equestrian properties, historic homes, and distinguished country estates throughout Central Virginia. Guided by a deep commitment to integrity and informed by a lifelong equestrian background, I provide discerning clients with thoughtful, highly personalized representation—matching properties with those who value both lifestyle and legacy.
Having grown up in Paris, France, and throughout Asia, I developed an early appreciation for history, craftsmanship, and global perspective—an influence that continues to shape how I market and represent exceptional homes. For decades, I have studied and practiced the art of Pa Kua, a discipline that has instilled balance, focus, and intention in both my professional and personal life. My passion for horses led me to dressage and the breaking and training of young horses, further deepening my understanding of equestrian properties from the ground up.
My professional background is intentionally diverse. I have served as Director of Education for the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors, Director of Sales and Marketing and Sales Trainer in the senior living industry, and as a Psychometrician in clinical research trials at the University of Virginia. Prior to relocating to Charlottesville, I spent a decade in the music industry in Los Angeles. I moved to Charlottesville in 1983 and have been a licensed Realtor® since 1990.
With family roots in Ireland and a lifelong love of the countryside, I bring a distinctly global sensibility to the marketing of historic estates, equestrian properties, and refined country homes across Central Virginia—honoring each property’s story while positioning it for today’s most discerning buyers.
